Cybersecurity & risk management services overview
Exquitech cybersecurity risk management services find, fix and watch the risks in your Microsoft estate. We deploy and run Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Entra and Intune, build Zero Trust access and monitor threats 24/7, aligned to Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, NIST CSF 2.0 and NCA ECC.
Our layered frameworks protect, detect and respond to threats across cloud and hybrid environments, following the roadmap our cybersecurity consulting team sets with you.
Microsoft Sentinel is changing too. After March 31, 2027 it will only run in the Microsoft Defender portal. We plan and run that move, so your detections, playbooks and data connectors keep working the day Azure portal support ends.

Run secure code reviews to find and fix vulnerabilities before release
Run vulnerability assessments (NIST SP 800-115) and configuration reviews (ISO/IEC 27001)
Arrange independent penetration testing to find weaknesses before attackers do
Hunt threats with threat intelligence (ISO/IEC 27035)
Build and test incident response plans (NIST SP 800-61)

Find shadow AI and govern agents with Microsoft Agent 365, Defender and Purview
Use Security Copilot, included with Microsoft 365 E5 and E7, to speed up triage and investigation
Run risk assessments that set your security priorities (ISO/IEC 27005)
Monitor compliance with GDPR, NCA ECC and your industry standards
Build business continuity plans that keep you running during and after an incident (ISO 22301)
Customer challenges
Exquitech cyber risk management clients face the same ten threats.
AI powered attacks
Attackers use AI for convincing phishing, fast changing malware and deepfake voice fraud on your staff.
Supply chain
risk
Breaches now start at suppliers and software vendors that hold access to your systems and your data.
Ransomware
Ransomware gangs steal data before they encrypt it, then extort you twice, even if backups restore.
Skills shortage
Few firms can hire enough security staff to watch alerts all day and keep up with every new threat.
Many regulators
GDPR, NCA ECC, UAE IA and Cyber Essentials overlap, and each one expects its own evidence trail.
Cloud gaps
Misconfigured storage, open ports and weak identities in Azure and AWS remain the easiest way in.
Remote work
Home networks and personal devices widen the attack surface for every person who works remotely.
IoT and OT risk
Connected sensors, cameras and plant systems add devices that rarely get patched or even monitored.
Zero day
exploits
New vulnerabilities are exploited within days of disclosure, often before your patch cycle runs.
Slow recovery
Untested backups and response plans turn a short incident into days of downtime and lost revenue.
Our cybersecurity risk management services address all ten, and more.
How our cybersecurity risk management works
Four proven steps take you from risk assessment to controls that run every day.
Plan
We agree your risk appetite, priorities and regulators with leadership, then shape a security program and the Microsoft tools to deliver it.
Implement
We deploy Sentinel, Defender, Entra, Intune and Purview in waves, with staff training and process changes so the controls stick.
Assess
We run risk assessments and maturity ratings across identity, data, endpoints and cloud, record every gap and rank the fixes by risk.
Operate
We monitor threats and controls 24/7, tune detections and report risk every quarter as threats and regulations change.

Customer benefits
Exquitech cybersecurity risk management clients finish with eight measurable gains.
-
Stronger security posture
Controls built on Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and NIST close the gaps attackers use most often.
-
Regulatory confidence
Evidence for GDPR, NCA ECC and UAE IA comes from the same controls, ready whenever auditors ask.
-
Protected data
Encryption, labels, DLP and tested backups keep sensitive data private and restorable after attack.
-
Faster detection
Sentinel and Defender XDR correlate signals across identity, email, endpoint and cloud in one place.
-
Business continuity
Continuity plans and rehearsed recovery keep operations running during and after a cyber incident.
-
Risk you can rank
Risk assessments and vulnerability data rank every issue, so budget goes to the biggest risks first.
-
Secure by design
Security built into DevSecOps and code reviews stops vulnerabilities before software reaches users.
-
AI you can trust
AI agents and Copilot get identities, data limits and monitoring before they touch sensitive data.

FAQ
They find the risks in your IT estate, put controls in place to reduce them and watch those controls every day. At Exquitech that means risk assessments, Zero Trust identity with Microsoft Entra, endpoint and email protection with Microsoft Defender, data protection with Microsoft Purview, and threat monitoring and response with Microsoft Sentinel.
Microsoft Sentinel is Microsoft’s cloud SIEM. It collects security signals from across your estate, detects threats and automates the response. It now runs inside the Microsoft Defender portal alongside Defender XDR. After March 31, 2027, Sentinel will no longer be supported in the Azure portal, so teams still working there need to move their workspaces, rules and playbooks before then.
Consulting decides what to protect, which rules apply and what to fix first. Risk management services put the controls in and run them: Sentinel monitoring, Defender, Entra, Intune and Purview, plus vulnerability management and incident response. Exquitech does both, so the roadmap from our consulting team becomes working controls.
It covers most of it: Defender XDR for endpoints, email, identities and cloud apps, Microsoft Entra ID P2, Microsoft Purview for data protection and, since November 2025, Security Copilot capacity. Microsoft Sentinel is billed separately on the data you send it. We map what you already own before recommending anything new.
We give every agent an identity in Microsoft Entra Agent ID, limit the data it can reach with Microsoft Purview and watch its activity with Microsoft Defender. Microsoft Agent 365, generally available since May 1, 2026, shows every agent in one place. Alerts about AI misuse, such as prompt injection, then flow into Sentinel like any other threat.
